If you have bare basement flooring, epoxy coating is the best way you can protect if from everyday knocks and spills. If you have never seen epoxy floor coating before, then your local DIY hardware store may well have a sample area setup so that you can experience the look and feel of this fantastic water resistant, and ultra hard wearing product.
It is not just great for basements but is widely used in garages too which are also prone to knocks, spills and sometimes damp conditions. Epoxy is also experimenting with some new and alternative coatings which expand on their existing range by offering more colors and finishes to more surfaces, including patios and decks.
